Cimetière Militaire Français Dinant ’14 -’18

Op het Cimetière Militaire Français Dinant ’14 -’18 op de Citadel liggen vijfentwintig vliegeniers van het Britse Gemenebest. Allen sneuvelden op 12 en 13 oktober 1941. Ze rusten op de Franse militaire begraafplaats die in 1923 werd geopend. Hier rusten ook 1.200 Franse soldaten die tijdens gevechten in 1914 om het leven kwamen.

Het monument L’Assaut is een werk van beeldhouwer Alexandre Daoust, het verbeeldt de herovering van de Citadel door de Fransen op 15 augustus 1914.
